The Boring Formalities

These Are The Standard Terms And Conditions.

Cost, Fees and Payment

The total cost ("Total Cost") for all Services is due in full at checkout. Client shall pay the Total Cost to SUNNY PICNIC LLC as follows:

The total payment is non-refundable. For your convenience, payments paid in full to SUNNY PICNIC LLC can be made through Acuity Scheduling via www.sunnypicnic.co/reserve

Contracted Services

Includes all services described in selected package details reviewed and distributed to client. Any additional services/products requested by the client acquired by SUNNY PICNIC LLC will be billed directly to client at full cost. All services contracted cannot be deducted, but additional services can be added.

Services for your Simple Luxury Picnic Experience includes:

Delivery + set up, seat pillows, picnic basket, sun umbrella depending on weather, hand held fans or blankets depending on weather, linens, flat wear, entrée plates, wine glasses, floor blanket, 1 ice bucket for water, water while supplies lasts, radio, trash bin, sunscreen, bug spray, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, hand sanitizing wipes, Picnic Blanket, clean-up + any additional decor to fit the selected theme.

Services for your Luxury Picnic Experience includes:

Delivery, set up, the main picnic table, sun umbrella depending on weather, hand held fans or blankets depending on weather, color decor of your choice, linens, flat wear, appetizer plates, entrée plates, cups, wine glasses, food covers, table for food, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, hand sanitizing wipes, sustainable paper towels, radio, trash bin, 1 ice bucket for water, water while supplies lasts, sunscreen, bug spray, citronella candle depending on weather, artificial flowers, candles depending on weather, picnic blankets, seat pillows, picnic basket, clean-up + any additional decor to fit the theme.

Every Luxury Picnic Experience will be 2 hours and can be extended upon request at cost. 

Provided Documentation

All documentation created and provided to client is owned and copy written by SUNNY PICNIC LLC and cannot be used or given to any other 3rd party.

Liability

It is understood that SUNNY PICNIC LLC is only liable for services completed and provided by SUNNY PICNIC LLC and cannot be held liable for the services of other contracted vendors. It is understood that in no event shall SUNNY PICNIC LLC be liable for consequential damages of any kind.

Postponement Policy

If client chooses to reschedule from clients original date of Luxury Picnic Experience with less than a one week notice, client will be allowed one rescheduling date that accommodates the both of said client and SUNNY PICNIC LLC, free of charge. Any subsequent reschedules, however, will be subject to a rebooking fee of $75. Once clients picnic is set up, SUNNY PICNIC LLC will not be able to cancel or reschedule clients booking and clients payment will not be refunded. At any time when problems arise due to situations such as inclement weather, picnics will be rescheduled or relocated by SUNNY PICNIC LLC. SUNNY PICNIC LLC will contact client via email and/or text message giving client rescheduling and/ or relocation options.

Options are as follows:

(1) Reschedule to another day. All services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. (2) Move clients experience indoors to a location of their choice no more than 45 min from downtown Chicago. Transportation costs will not be applied. (3) Move to the Lincoln Park Gazebo near North Pond as available (4) Move to the Welles (Gideon) Park Gazebo as available.

Grace Period and No-Show Policy

Please be mindful that clients booking commences at the scheduled time, regardless of clients arrival time. We respectfully ask that client arrive on our agreed time to enjoy the most of our services. Arriving to the luxury picnic experience late can affect SUNNY PICNIC LLC's schedule and interfere with other bookings for the day. Please be courteous and arrive to the luxury picnic experience in a timely manner. If the client does not arrive during agreed upon time, SUNNY PICNIC LLC will hold clients luxury picnic experience for a 30 minute grace period after the agreed booked time. However, a failure to appear will be considered a no-show and we reserve the right to move onto our next booking. SUNNY PICNIC LLC has no obligation to attempt to re-book further Services to fill the void created by Client’s no-show or if it becomes impossible for SUNNY PICNIC LLC to provide Services due to the fault of Client (or parties related to Client), and Provider will not be obligated to refund any monies Client has previously paid towards the Total Cost. Client is not relieved of any payment obligations for cancelled Services, rescheduled Services, failing to show up for the service.

Early Departure

If client decides to leave before the agreed upon end time, contact SUNNY PICNIC LLC at (872) 218-7579 at least 30 minutes in advance.

Responsibility

SUNNY PICNIC LLC is not responsible for Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, an Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency, or Other Incidents not within the control of the SUNNY PICNIC LLC, i.e. accident, death in the family, illness, pregnancy, or sudden tragic circumstance.

Location Preservation

Be respectful in preserving the Chicago Parks as you found it. Client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving to protect the plants, animals, and native habitats found in the parks. Leave nature as you find it for others to enjoy, and help us keep wildlife wild, safe, and healthy. There is no loitering and/or littering allowed. Trash bags provided by SUNNY PICNIC LLC must be used. Any fines incurred through the City of Chicago or entities thereof to SUNNY PICNIC LLC due to loitering or littering by the client and/ or guests of the client will be subject to payment in full by the client.

Food and Beverage

Not sure what to eat? We’ll send you some of our yummiest suggestions once you have reserved a spot with us! Limited water is provided. You must bring your own drinks.

Alcohol Use

If alcohol is brought without a permit to any park of the Chicago Park Districts client may be subject to a citation and a fine of $75 to $500 for each offense. Permits are not provided by SUNNY PICNIC LLC. Click the link below to receive a special events permit for alcohol.

Additional Costs

Any purchased items for pickup as agreed upon by SUNNY PICNIC LLC and the client on behalf of the client for the day of event or prior will be billed directly to client at the cost of goods and mileage at $.60 per mile if extensive travel (beyond 25 miles) is required to be acquired.

Damage or Loss of Accessories

Client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving the property of SUNNY PICNIC LLC. Items are to be returned in the same condition as you found it. Client shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to property up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost. Stains to linen and equipment will be cleaned accordingly and may result in dry cleaning or professional cleaning charges.

Appropriate Conduct/ Safe Working Environment

The Client(s) expressly agree(s) to take best efforts to provide SUNNY PICNIC LLC and SUNNY PICNIC LLC's staff with safe and appropriate working conditions. In the event of circumstances deemed by either SUNNY PICNIC LLC or a bystander to present a threat or implied threat of injury or harm to SUNNY PICNIC LLC staff or equipment, SUNNY PICNIC LLC reserves the right to cancel all services remaining under this Agreement and leave the event. At the SUNNY PICNIC LLC’s discretion, the SUNNY PICNIC LLC may enact a three-strike policy. After the first offense, SUNNY PICNIC LLC will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client(s) or a responsible party. If the Client(s) is/are able to respond to the threatening situation in a reasonable amount of time (maximum of 15 minutes), SUNNY PICNIC LLC shall resume work in accordance with the original terms of this Agreement. If the threatening behavior occurs for a second time, the Client(s) will agree to remove the offending person for the remainder of the event. If the behavior occurs a third time, SUNNY PICNIC LLC will immediately leave the event. If the SUNNY PICNIC LLC leaves the event early due to any offending behavior, the Client(s) expressly agree to relieve and hold SUNNY PICNIC LLC harmless as a result of incomplete event coverage, or for a lapse in the quality of the SUNNY PICNIC LLC’s work, and the Client(s) shall be responsible for payment in full.

Grace Period

If the client does not arrive during agreed upon time, we hold your picnic for 30 minutes after the agreed booked time. We have the right to cancel the picnic if the guest does not arrive during our grace period. Please refer to grace period and no-show policy terms below.

Payment Schedule

All of our picnics are paid up front before designated picnic day. We use Stripe as our payment processing provider. All picnics are non-refundable. At any time by owner, problems arise due to situations such as inclement weather, picnics will be rescheduled. Please refer to postponement policy terms below.
